SAN JACINTO—Saint Hyacinth Academy hosted its first ever Fine Arts Night on January 28 as part of Catholic Schools Week.
The Fine Arts Night showcased art from every class. The school hall was transformed into an art gallery with the creation of strategically placed, movable walls. Each class had its own wall on which the student art was mounted for all to enjoy with a brief description of the lessons taught. The posters made by every student in the school for a Diocesan Poster Contest were hung on the walls of the hall, along with a special section displaying the winners of St. Hyacinth’s contest to determine whose posters were sent on to the Diocese. The Choir put on a wonderful performance, singing songs of praise to God from our Motion Makers group.
