A Mass of Resurrection was celebrated by Bishop Barnes to celebrate the lives of those in our Diocese called to eternal rest during these recent weeks of pandemic. Because of public gathering restrictions these brothers and sisters were unable to receive a Catholic funeral Mass. We will now come together as a community of faith to remember them. The healthcare ministry of our Church continues even in this time of pandemic. Witness Father Edmund Afagbegee, SVD, Chaplain at St. Bernardine Medical Center. No longer allowed in the hospital rooms, he led a procession through the halls of the hospital, sprinkling holy water on the doors of the rooms, and carrying the Blessed Sacrament. Our faith lives!
